Cheese Markers

If you are lucky enough to have a good cheese monger nearby, then you will probably agree that there is no greater pleasure than to taste and make a selection of cheeses to share with your friends and family.

These markers provide a practical solution to the dilemma faced by my husband later in the evening when he can't remember which cheeses are laid out without referring back to the packaging. The markers enable you to name the cheese, and who knows, you might be able to develop a system to distinguish, pasturised from unpasturised, different types of milk and country of origin – that would impress the in-laws!

The labeling system comprises of a set of stainless steel plates with a spike that sticks into the cheese and you write onto the plates with a freezer bag marker, (provided) which can be easily washed off.
